About this plugin

VM PumpIT is a source plugin built for Resolume's Advanced Output system. Hook it to any AO preset (from a few rectangles up to 1024+ contoured slices) and on each press of the Pump It! button it sequentially fills every slice with animated visuals — perfect for stage shows, club walls, light installations, projection mapping and broadcast graphics. Why it's different Most slice effects react to the input video — VM PumpIT generates its own visuals based on your slice geometry. The animation knows about each contour, fills them in your chosen order, and gives you precise creative control over how each slice looks while it's being lit and how it behaves after. Animation Pump It! event button — re-press anytime to restart the animation immediately Speed — from 2 seconds per slice (slow / dramatic) down to 0.05s (rapid-fire) 5 fill orders: Sequential · Reverse · Random · Outward (center → edge) · Inward (edge → center) Previous Slices: Stay Filled / Fade Out (configurable seconds) / Only Current Hold After Fill toggle — keep slices lit indefinitely after animation completes 15 Geometric Deforms (applied to the slice currently being lit) None · Pulse · Punch · Glitch · Ripple · Burn · Liquid · Spin · Shake · Twist · Wave · Squeeze X · Mirror · Vortex · Bounce Y. Each warps the actual slice shape — the slice itself pulses, spins, shakes, ripples — not just the pattern inside. 12 Fill Styles (the visual content inside each lit slice) Solid · Tunnel · Psychedelic · Lava · Plasma · Stripes · Rainbow · Voronoi · Checker · Melted · Galaxy · Lightning. All driven by 2 colors (A + B) plus Pattern Scale and Pattern Speed. 7 Feedback Modes (post-effect trails on the rendered output) Trail · Echo · Smear · Kaleidoscope · Bloom · RGB Split · Wave. Combined with Decay / Zoom / Rotate controls for after-image, motion blur, mirrored echoes, soft glow and chromatic trail effects. Use cases Beat-synced wall lighting · drop hits in club VJ sets · stage lighting cues triggered from MIDI · room mapping with rhythmic content · video screen pixel-mapped sequences · light installation scripted shows.
